Cocoa in Uganda was introduced during the British colonial era and has since grown to be an important source of income for thousands of small farmers. The main growing area is the Semuliki Valley. A Forastero and Trinitario variety, this cocoa has a light roast to bring out its personality and elegance. It surprises with its combination of tropical fruit and dried fruit flavours. Slightly astringent. Sweet on the palate.
