1) Purpose
To define the company's Quality, Food Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention and Environmental Policy so that all the people who make up the company are aware of it, apply it and collaborate in its implementation and maintenance.
2) Scope
Everyone in the organization.
3) Responsibility
The General Management is responsible for the drafting, approval and revision of the Company Policy, according to the internal and external changes that may occur.
It is the responsibility of the Quality Manager to manage it, so that the whole organization is aware of and applies the established Company Policy.
4) Company Policy
The company's management has the firm conviction that:
-The viability and profitability of the company is only achieved by offering to the market products that fully satisfy the needs of the consumer and the commitments acquired with the customer.
It is essential that the company's resources are oriented to ensure the production of safe and legal food products. Our company is strongly involved in the education and training of our personnel and has control measures in place to ensure food safety competencies.
Product quality is determined by the totality of characteristics and services related to the product. To ensure product quality, it has decided to standardize all processes and services related to food quality and safety and to manage them in accordance with the FSSC 22,000 food safety management system standard.
The company is convinced that achieving the proposed objectives in terms of quality, food safety, environment, and occupational risk prevention requires the collaboration and dynamism of the entire team of our company, as well as the firm commitment to the continuous improvement of all associated processes.
To this end, Chocolates Simon Coll has implemented a safety culture in which all the company's staff is involved. The fundamental pillars of this safety culture are communication, training, staff feedback and performance measurement, which are continuously evaluated in order to guarantee the commitment of all staff in this area.
Furthermore, in order to improve the management of the company, it is necessary to integrate safety and prevention of accidents at work and occupational diseases, as well as the continuous improvement of health conditions at work.
It is also essential to integrate sustainability and respect for the environment into all the company's processes. Chocolates Simon Coll works continuously to optimise natural resources and reduce the environmental impact generated in the course of its activity, including the minimisation and correct management of food waste.
Therefore, the mission of our company, Chocolates Simón Coll, S.A. is to guarantee that:
- We offer our customers high quality chocolate products, which comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and in accordance with the requirements mutually agreed with our customers.
- Food quality and safety is understood by all the company's staff as their own responsibility. For this reason, the management considers it a priority to inform, train and motivate all members of the team, and to implement a food safety culture common to all staff.
- An Occupational Risk Prevention, Food Safety, Sustainability and Environmental Management System is integrated into the management of the same, understood as a commonproject, in which all personnel are involved, which must be implemented, reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis.
