The Simón Coll Chocolate Experience
Did you know that cocoa comes from a tree called Theobroma Cacao, which is only found in tropical regions? Have you ever seen a cocoa bean? Do you know what a freshly-roasted cocoa bean smells like? Would you like to experience live, on-site production of Simón Coll chocolate?
Come and visit the Simón Coll Chocolate Experience and delve into the fascinating world of chocolate. Using an audiovisual show with spectacular, innovative images you can take a journey into the origins, the culture, the history and the process of how Simón Coll makes chocolate. With the guide’s expert explanations you will be able to live the world of chocolate, experimenting with cocoa pods, cocoa beans, moulds etc.

You’ll also be able to see the pilot production line at work, making chocolate that you’ll be able to taste straight off the line, learning the best way to enjoy chocolate as you do so.

Enjoy a unique experience that will delight all your senses and let yourself be carried away by the incredible world of chocolate.

Discover the world of chocolate as you have never seen it before
Experience Simón Coll
With over 800 square metres, the Simón Coll Chocolate Experience has four different areas:

The 180º audiovisual space. A large audiovisual cube that will transport you in time and space to discover the history of Simón Coll and chocolate itself.

The traditional workshop. The original 100-year-old factory will come to life to teach you the traditional chocolate-making process in a way that is both clear and understandable.

The pilot production line. You will also see how Simón Coll makes chocolate in the present day thanks to the pilot production line, which is where we experiment with new types of chocolate (working from Monday to Saturday).

The store. More than just a store, this is an experience in itself. Here you will find more than 400 different chocolate products, alongside tasting areas, and will be able to find new products that aren’t yet on the market, as well as enjoying special exhibitions of chocolate products that we make for special times of the year, like Easter and Christmas.
Visits for groups and collectivities
Are you a group of more than 20 and want to visit the Simón Coll Chocolate Experience? Do you belong to an association, club of friends or similar? Please explain the particulars of your group and we will adapt a visit to your needs.
School visits
The Espai Xocolata Simón Coll offers schools a unique learning experience that is suitable for all ages, one that will teach them all about the origins, the history, the culture and the values of chocolate.

During the visit, the alumni will acquire knowledge about the process of chocolate elaboration and will be able to experiment with its raw materials, along with seeing the different textures and tasting the three different types of chocolate. It is a more sensorial part of the visit whose contents may be adapted depending on the scholarship level.

The visit may also be held in english, thus favoring the learning of new vocabulary.
